Introduction to RhamnanoHygeian and The Benefits of Rhamnan Sulfate

RhamnanoHygeian (Rhamnan) is a nutraceutical food ingredient formulated by the Health Care Division of Konan Chemical Manufacturing Co. Ltd based in Mie Prefecture, Japan. After many years of research, their breakthrough formula, Rhamnan, incorporates rhamnan sulfate, a polysaccharide, as its main ingredient. Rhamnan sulfate is extracted from one of the species of Green Algae called Monostroma Nitidum.
